In 2026, Feldversuche will consist of the Feldversuche Symposium 26, taking place in summer, and the Feldversuche Dialogues 26, opening for the public in September. Both projects will take place as always at the community farm Kleine Stadtfarm, 1220 Vienna.

For the 6th edition of the yearly Feldversuche Symposium we invite the artists Amanda Piña, Carlos Monleón, Gabriel Huth, LI Yuchen and Tomash Schoiswohl to live and work at the community farm ‘Kleine Stadtfarm’ in the 22nd district of Vienna and deal with the topics of food systems, nature and landscape, and city development. Between paddock, suburban family dwellings and Schillwasser, one of Danube’s old arms, the exhibition at the end of the symposium shows the artistic works on the grounds of the community farm. During the exhibtion days there will be guided tours, regional food and drinks, music and performances.

Within the Feldversuche Dialogues 26 the Vienna-based artists Melanie Ender and Hans Schabus have the opportunity to explore long-term processes at the intersection of food systems, natural spaces, and urban development. For the Dialogues 26, the themes “Soil Under Pressure” with artist Melanie Ender and “Danube Traffic” with artist Hans Schabus were selected. The resulting works will be presented at the end of September in the Feldversuche Dialogue exhibition at the community farm Kleine Stadtfarm, featuring guided tours and talks.
